Know Your Book Blogger is a weekly meme hosted by Melissa over at Book Nerd Reviews. When I saw this meme on http://writerquirk.blogspot.com/ I thought immedieatley that it would be a great idea since we are all new to each other. All you have to do is post the question on your blog and then add yourself to the linky thing on Melissa's blog. Easy right? :)
This weeks question is:
Name three things that are worth waiting in long lines for. What is the longest amount of time you have ever waited in line?
1: The log ride at Michigan's Adventure. First it's a roller coaster. Second it's a roller coaster that gets you soaking wet at the end of the ride which is awesome because you are wandering in the sun all day.
2: Concerts/comedy shows. The hubby and I just saw Rodney Carrington (super hilarious) a couple weeks ago and I would not have complained at the end of the show if we had to wait longer. The line was long but it moved really fast.
3: Haunted houses/trails. My favorite thing ever to wait in line for!! When you find a good one, it is sooo worth the wait. The lines for these are ridiculous so you have to get there early. Sometimes we go twice (not the same day) when we find one that is worth it. I love the haunted houses, they're such a hoot!
The longest I have ever waited in line is actually for the log ride at Michigan's Adventure. It was almost an hour and a half. As far as lines go, some are much longer but when it is 90+ degrees and you are in a line with no shade, that hour is the longest one you've ever waited.

I feel the same way about some roller coaster rides. I didn't think about that when I was writing my post! :-)
