Genre Wars! What's your favorite genre and which book in that genre made it your favorite?
Oh let's see...I always used to read whatever fiction I found that the synopsis sounded good. Then, one day, I found Patricia Briggs. More specifically her Mercy Thompson series (funny, this was in my answer to last weeks question). That turned me on to the fantasy genre and now my favorite characters are usually the werewolf. Don't get me wrong, I can go for the good ole' vampire too but I prefer the wolves.

I'm was the opposite and was anti-werewolf for a long time, but recent things (Twilight, Nightshade, etc.) have made them more interesting to me, while my vampire interest, though still existing, is on the wane.
