Hi!  My name is Amy.  I learned about book blogging from a friend and thought it would be something I could sink my teeth into since I read, read, and read some more.
I am from the lovely Michigan, so I have a long winter every year that pretty much consists of work and reading.  I hate the cold so reading is the perfect activity for me.  Summer, however, is much different.  I love to go fishing and that takes up almost every weekend for me.  I admit that once it warms up, I don't turn the pages as much unless it is raining.
I have a great hubby and have been married for 8 years but he's been putting up with me for 10!   We have 3 big ole' dogs, no kids yet but maybe some day.  I am a huge fan of the smiley face :)
My first memories of reading are from elementary school.  I discovered a large box of my sister's hard cover Trixie Beldon books and fell in love with them.  I have been reading ever since and I'm addicted.  That started me on series books, to this day, I would much rather read a series book than a single.  I get attached to the characters and NEED to read more! 
I've always  been a fiction reader.  Last year I discovered the paranormal.  I always knew it was there but had never read one.   Werewolves are my favorite, but anything fantastical will do.  I enjoy all of them.  Not so much of a romance kinda gal though.  Love is always good and, hey, who ever complained about a steamy scene or two, but I don't like to focus on the lovey-dovey.
I've been writing since I was a teenager and have a lot laying around, I just don't think I'm that great at it.  I'm hoping that as I write reviews, that will strengthen my writing.  I want to write enjoyable reviews and if a book is great, I want to make you want to read it too!
